My Review: This audiobook was definitely a nice surprise! I purchased it at Audible on sale for only $4.95! I was super excited and hoped for the best. Thankfully, How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf was great.

Mo Wenstein is a southern girl that arrives in Grundy, Alaska at the start of the novel. She’s never been to Grundy and doesn’t know a soul. All she knows is she needs to get away from her smothering, hippy parents. She found Grundy’s website and arranged a lease for a home in the boonies.

She’s greeted by wonderful, warm people and settles in well. And fast! She takes a job at the local saloon serving up burgers, melts and desserts after Buzz, one of the owners has an unfortunate, yet hilarious mishap. She becomes good friends with Buzz’s wife Evie and the two ramp up business.

Author Molly Harper’s story is hilarious! We listen in as Mo meets many locals and available bachelors as they try to swoon her. One goes as far as to offer warm feet and color TV. The cast of colorful characters make this a must listen!

The relationship between Mo and her love interest (and werewolf) Cooper is enticing. You can feel the affection between the two, but also the aggravation. Mo doesn’t understand everything about Grundy, werewolves, packs and Alaskan weather. She just knows she’s happy… for now.

Narrator Review: To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about Amanda Ronconi when the audiobook first started. But as soon as I heard the back story a few minutes in, I understood. A southern girl moving to Alaska. The tone and phrasing made perfect sense. I didn’t care much for Cooper’s voice, but I got used to that pretty fast and it didn’t bother me. Ronconi’s voice seemed to be a great fit for Mo.
