Jim Dale’s narration paired with Erin Morgenstern’s incredible writing resulted in an audiobook experience that completely captivated me. However, while the book was certainly magical and engrossing it didn’t really have the “fierce” magical competition that I was expecting. This one small failing was easily forgiven as I found myself lost in the mystery and magic of the circus.
