My Review: Sometimes inheritance isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, especially for Stephanie Plum. Stephanie’s Uncle Pip left her his “lucky” red bottle after his recent death and she’s bound to figure out a use for it. How lucky could the thing be? The man was stuck by lightning!

After Stephanie’s cousin and boss Vinnie is kidnapped, she’s on the hunt. The napper is Vinnie’s bookie Mickey and he’s set a huge ransom, over a million bucks. Between Stephanie, Lula and Connie, they have to decide if Vinnie’s worth it. He’s a perverted slimeball and a constant pain in the ass… but, he’s family. And no bail bonds office means no paychecks for the girls.

Sizzling Sixteen is loaded with adventures as Stephanie hunts different bail bond skippers to raise the money to save Vinnie. Sadly, those skip payments will never add up to the ransom price. They have to get the money, otherwise Stephanie won’t be able to forgive herself… and neither will her family.

These characters and this series keep me so entertained! I could listen to any of these audiobooks over and over and never get bored. Author Janet Evanovich has a tactful way of giving just the right amount of details without going overboard. I’ve listened to other authors in the past and they ramble on about someone’s appearance. Evanovich, hits the highs and lows and does it the right way!

Narrator Review: Lorelei King is awesome, not only is she super friendly on Twitter and Facebook, she’s a great narrator! She has this cast of characters down to a science and flows seamlessly between them.
